Abstract
Politika ve ahlak arasında ki ilişki geçmişten günümüze kadar gelen bir konu olmuştur. Politika üzerinde düşünce ve fikirlerini beyan eden düşünürler için politika-ahlak ilişkisi kendi arasında farklılıklar göstermektedir. Bu farklılığın sebebi o anki dönemin şartları ve politika üzerine var olan bilgi yoğunluğudur. Aristoteles ve Platon, politika hakkında düşünceleri birbirine yakındır. O dönem politika hakkında sıkı bir görüş ve fikir çok az karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Modern döneme doğru gittiğimiz zaman politika hakkında birçok farklı görüşler ortaya çıkar. Machiavelli, politika ile ahlakın bir arada olmayacağını söyler. Çünkü devleti yöneten hükümdar gerektiğinde halkı kandırabilir onlara yalanda söyleyebilir bu ahlakın temeline uygun olmaz. Ancak ahlakın görüşlerinden de uzaklaşmamıştır. Modern felsefeyi savunmuştur. Leo Strauss ise klasik felsefeyi savunmuştur. Çünkü Leo Strauss’a göre teknoloji geliştikçe insanlar yozlaşmaya başlar. İnsanlar yozlaşmaya başladıkları zaman ahlak ve siyasette yozlaşmaya başlar.

The relationship between politics and morality has been a subject from the past to the present. For thinkers who express their thoughts and ideas on politics, the relationship between politics and morality differs among themselves. The reason for this difference is the conditions of the current period and the intensity of knowledge on politics. Aristotle and Plato are close to each other in their thoughts about politics. At that time, we rarely encountered a strict view and opinion about politics. As we move towards the modern period, many different views about politics emerge. Machiavelli says that politics and morality cannot go together. Because the ruler who rules the state can deceive the people when necessary and lie to them, this is not in accordance with the basis of morality. However, he did not stray from the views of morality. He defended modern philosophy. Leo Strauss defended classical philosophy. Because, according to Leo Strauss, as technology develops, people begin to degenerate. When people begin to degenerate, morality and politics begin to degenerate.
